SEOUL CHANGEMAKER
From Idea to Impact in One Day
What is Seoul failing to see on its own?
Hosted by CREATEAM
About
SAME CITY, DIFFERENT EYES
You live in Seoul. There are things about this city that bother you, and you have ideas about how they could be better. But you've never had the right people in the room to actually do something about it. That's what this day is. You team up with people who see this city completely differently than you do. Together, you dig into one real problem and build something that brings change to the city you live in, Seoul.
ONE DAY. ONE REAL PROBLEM.
How It Works
ONE DAY. FOUR SESSIONS.
12:30 — 13:15
OPENINGOpening
We kick off with today's core question. Moving beyond simple icebreakers, you will break down existing prejudices and get ready to see Seoul from a brand-new perspective.
13:15 — 14:30
SEEDiscovering a Different Seoul
You've been living in this city with opinions you've never said out loud. So has everyone else in the room. This is where you put it all on the table: what bothers you, what doesn't make sense, what you wish were different. You listen to what others see, and you start to realize you've been looking at the same city from completely different angles.
14:30 — 15:40
DIGDigging into the Real Problem
Complaining is easy. Understanding why things are the way they are is harder. Why does this problem exist? Why hasn't it been solved? Is someone already working on it? What's the policy behind it? What are we missing? We bring the data and the context. Your team brings the experience. Together you get to the real problem. Not the surface, the root.
15:40 — 16:50
CREATETurning Ideas into Actions
Now that you know what the problem actually is, what's your move? What would it take to change it? Who needs to be involved? What does this city look like if this gets better? Your team picks a format: a guide, a campaign, a video, whatever fits and you build it together.

SHARE"What is Seoul failing to see on its own?"
Every team presents what they saw, what they found, and what they built. You hear problems you hadn't thought about and solutions you wouldn't have come up with on your own. By the end, you're looking at a full picture of what this city doesn't see about itself made by the people who live in it.
What You Leave With
WHAT STAYS WITH YOU AFTER ONE DAY.
The point is not to solve Seoul in one afternoon. But to leave with something clearer, more concrete, and less lonely than what you came in with.
01
A different lens on Seoul
You worked alongside people who see this city from a completely different angle. That perspective doesn't go away after the day ends.
02
A problem worth solving
Not a vague complaint but a specific, researched problem your team defined together, with the data and context behind why it exists.
03
A finished first version
A campaign draft, a guide, a video, a proposal… whatever format your team chose. Built from scratch in one day.
04
A team that shares your problem
You came alone. You're leaving with people who spent a full day working on something you all care about and a starting point to keep going.
